The mission to which God has called me in Guatemala requires your help. I ask that you consider joining with me in obedience to God’s Word in the following ways:
"Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'"
(Matthew 28:16-20 ESV)No mission can be accomplished by man alone, apart from the unmerited favor of God and His provision. Each of us who enter into a relationship with God the Father through Christ the Son find it pure joy to be called by God to be on His mission wherever He leads. I feel honored to have been chosen and called by the Lord to be part of His mission in Guatemala.
"So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple."
(Luke 14:33 ESV)Many often consider it a great sacrifice for us to leave behind what we know in order to enter a new stage of our journey with Christ. I know my transition to Guatemala will bring times of difficulty, but I also know that our Lord will send me the support needed to accomplish His mission—all for His glory! The joy and the passion we find in pursuing the work to which God calls us far outweigh anything we give up or encounter along the way.
"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
(James 1:27 ESV)
Deep in my heart, I feel that teaching and caring for the orphans, for those who are abandoned and abused, in Casa Aleluya and raising them up to be disciple-makers will bring honor and glory to our Mighty Father.
There are many disciples to be made in all nations, and each of us can help that to happen in some way. Not everyone is called to take up residence in another country; however, your prayer, partnership, and financial support to this mission will contribute to the Great Commission.

PRAYER
Please commit to join me in prayer for the following:
- Please pray… that the Lord will maintain my health and give me abundant energy and wisdom as I invest in girls and young women dealing with physical, emotional, and spiritual distress.
- Please pray… that the Lord will open doors and lines of communication for me to form meaningful relationships with girls in Casa as I teach them sewing and jewelry-making, that I may demonstrate love to them as Christ has loved me. Please pray that the Lord will open their hearts to be receptive to the Gospel of Christ, that He will allow me to raise up women who are disciples of Christ and leaders both to those around them and to their future children.
- Please pray… for the Lord to send others to join the mission. Please pray that He will provide people to come work alongside me and others in Casa; that He will provide sewing supplies needed to sustain the program in Casa; and that He will provide the money needed for my personal expenses, outreach expenses, and for other special needs in Casa.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
A minimum percentage of all financial support I receive goes towards my monthly personal expenses (healthcare, food, transportation, and communication). The majority of all financial support I receive will be used for covering class expenses for the sewing program in Casa Aleluya as well as for outreach expenses (related to sewing and investing the Gospel into communities throughout Guatemala).
